When is tuition due?

The first month of tuition is due upon enrollment, and subsequent months are due on the first of each month. Tuition will be prorated if your dancer joins mid-month, mid-season. If not paid by Venmo beforehand, the monthly amount will be charged to your card on file on the 5th of each month. Yearly tuition can be paid in full at the time of registration at a discounted rate. Students are expected to pay tuition each month even if they miss class or have fewer classes in a month due to holidays.

What are the additional costs?

With exception of tuition costs, the only other required costs for the year are costume fees.

What are the costumes costs?

Costume payments are due by October 1st. Costume fees range from $45-$75 per class.

Dancers will receive 1-2 costumes, a pair of performance tights, and accessories if included in the costume throughout the year. If your dancer joins after October 1, you will be charged the full amount at once upon enrollment. We do our best to keep costume costs low and only charge you what we pay for them.

What should my dancer wear to class?

All dancers need tight/stretchy clothing, full dance shoes, and pulled-back hair for practice.

Dancers are responsible to provide their own shoes.

No pajamas or jeans.

Ballet Classes: Pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and black leotards are preferred

Hip Hop Classes: Athletic shoes and athletic attire that is easy to move and tumble in

Jazz/Contemporary Classes: Some type of jazz or turning shoe. Leotard or athletic top that covers the dancer and allows them to move comfortably. Athletic shorts or pants on the bottom.

Mini Dance Classes: Some type of ballet dress/leotard. They will also need both pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes to practice and perform in.

Can I buy practice attire and shoes through your studio?

Practice attire, tights, and shoes can be purchased through the studio at a discounted studio rate. Contact studio director for more info.

What are your health procedures and class protocols?

When arriving to class, please have your dancers attempt to use the restroom before arriving, and have them bring a water bottle with them to class. We also ask that if dancers are sick, they do not attend to prevent spreading to the rest of the class. We prefer that only dancers are in the studio to help decrease noise level and distractions to the dancers during class. All dancers will need a parent or guardian to pick them up at the studio doors when the class is over, unless they have given written permission to the instructor to allow the student to leave.

What if my dancer is absent, sick or on vacation during class?

Dancers who miss class are still expected to pay tuition. They are also encouraged to make efforts to make-up what they missed outside of class. Videos can be taken and make-up classes can be arranged if done so in advance. Your dancer may be taken out of parts of the routine if they were not in class to learn the material.

What if I decide to take my dancer out mid-year?

If at any time you need to take your dancer out of a certain class or all classes for scheduling or family matters etc, we definitely understand! Please contact Rachel and let her know, and she will cancel your automatic tuition payments from that time forward. Costume fees will still need to be paid, and are non-refundable, as we put all the money for them up front.

When will my child perform?

We will have two recitals during the school year (Mid December and Mid May). For those enrolled in our summer program, we will perform mid August. Most of our performances are held at Nebo Summit Center Auditorium in Springville. Tickets are $5/person for family members and friends to attend our recitals to help pay for the auditorium expenses. There are no other recital fees.
